Working Parent Programs
LMA provides two programs for working parents:
Before School Program – The Before School Program opens at 7:30 am. There is a charge of $3.00 per morning. Students are to be dropped off at the ramp door. A paper bill will be sent home with your child at the end of each month. Any family over one month behind in payments will be excluded from this program, and late fees will be charged.
After School Program – The After School Program operates from 2:40 to 5:30 pm. Any student not picked up from school by 2:40 pm is sent to After School Program.
The cost is $4.00 per hour.
Students are to be picked up at the side door. The person picking up your child will call the BSP/ASP cell phone 814.392.8733 when they arrive. Your child will then be dismissed to the side door.
The person picking up your child must be listed on your emergency data form (sent home the first week of school). If they are not, you will need to approve them via phone before your child will be dismissed. The cell phone will accept calls from 2:45-5:30 pm.
Students are encouraged to bring an activity such as a puzzle book, coloring book and crayons, book to read, home work, etc.
Students are also encouraged to bring a snack. We do not provide snacks.
Students may bring a small mat or towel to sit on when the program goes outside. It will need to be kept in their book bag when it is not being used.
Hand held electronic devices will NOT be permitted in the After School Program. Likewise, students are not to bring toys to After School.
Please make sure all student items such as lunchboxes, jackets, hats, boots, snow pants, sweatshirts, and gloves, are marked with the student’s name or initials. If no identification can be found on an item that is left behind, it will be placed in the lost and found box. The box is cleaned out twice a year, before Christmas and Summer breaks.
The After School program CLOSES at 5:30 pm. A LATE FEE of $30.00 will be charged for any student picked up after 5:30 pm.
To ensure proper spacing, student reservations are requested and greatly appreciated. Please fill out the Before School/After School form if you have a regular schedule.
You will be billed monthly, and the previous month’s payment is due by the 20th of the current month. A $5.00 charge will be added for late ASP payments. Accounts 30 days in arrears will exclude the child from the program.
