LMA’s staff and School Board have worked diligently to make sure students have the opportunity to engage in in-person learning at LMA while making sure the school environment is configured to maintain the health and safety of our LMA family.

We are cognizant of the fact that transmissions of COVID-19 are still a serious concern. Therefore, we will continue to have procedures in place to mitigate COVID-19 transmission and protect students, staff, and families.

Luther Memorial Academy follows the CDC guidelines concerning Covid 19, which outlines the actions we all must take to protect our community and minimize interruptions to our school operations.

The following is important information to assure the health and safety of individuals in the school building:

  • Students must not come to school if they are sick. Students who exhibit cold or flu-like symptoms will be required to have documentation of a negative COVID-19 test before they can return to school. Procedures regarding students testing positive for COVID-19 and close contact information is outlined in the Protocol document.

If you have specific questions about any aspect of the protocol or individual circumstances, please contact the school office for additional guidance.
