About Karen Socash
Mrs. Socash is looking forward to getting to know the new kindergarten students.
Mrs. Socash and her husband met while working at a summer church camp. They have been married for 31 years and have a 28 year old son, Jesse, and a cat named Squeakers. Mrs. Socash has been teaching for 41 years and has taught most grades from PreK to 7th Grade. She loves camping every summer with her family at Clear Creek State Park.
About the Kindergarten year at LMA
LMA kindergarten students will love learning! They will learn the skills that are necessary to lead a full academic and social life.
Kindergarten Supply List:
- 3 boxes Crayola Crayons (24 count)
- 2 pair Fiskars Scissors
- 2 pocket folders – 1 red, 1 blue
- 2 black dry erase markers
- 1 box 10-12 count washable markers (broad tip)
- 8-12 glue sticks
- 2 boxes colored pencils (sharpened) (24 count)
- 3 boxes pre-sharpened #2 pencils (12 count)
- 1-2 pencil sharpeners
- Backpack (no wheels please)
- Oversized white T-shirt to wear as a cover-up for Art (PRINT first name in large letters across the top, front of the shirt)
- 2 boxes of Kleenex
- 2 rolls paper towels
- 2 containers disinfecting wipes
- 1 box of gallon ziplock bags
Please bring items when we meet in August prior to the first day of school.
Label all jackets, backpacks, lunch boxes, pencil cases, winter wear, etc.
